Hirotaka Tobimatsu began working with porcelain in Saga, a region long known for its ceramic tradition, before establishing his studio in Tokyo. Today, under the name Tobimatsu Toki, he continues this material study, shaped by traditional casting techniques and inspiration drawn from early 20th-century milk glass lampshades.
